Land of the Ramaytush Ohlone People

OKO Designs studio is located on 420 Sutter St, San Francisco CA 94108, in the heart of Union Square, one block behind the Apple Store and two blocks from the Chinatown Gate.
The studio is on occupied land of the Ramaytush Ohlone People.
To reduce the contribution to gentrification of San Francisco my prices are the lowest in the Bay Area, however please contact me directly if you can’t afford my prices. I also offer a scholarship program for weekly studio rental. Classes can also be taught in Spanish or French.
OKO Designs acknowledges that we occupy the stolen ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone peoples, who are the original inhabitants of the San Francisco Peninsula.
We wish to pay our respects to the Ancestors and Relatives of the Ramaytush Community and to affirm their sovereign rights as First Peoples. We honor the Ramaytush Ohlone for their enduring commitment to steward Mother Earth. We recognize that the Ramaytush Ohlone have lived in harmony with nature for millennia, and that to achieve a truly ecologically sustainable future for San Francisco, we must embrace Indigenous traditional ecological knowledge in how we care for the city’s lands, waters, and all its people. We fully support land back initiatives and are against pipelines which are destroying Mother Earth.
OKO Designs contributes to a monthly Yunakin land tax.

Estudio OKO Designs esta ubicada en la calle 420 Sutter, San Francisco CA 94108, en el corazón de Union Square, una cuadra atrás de la tienda Apple, y dos cuadras del portal de Chinatown.
El estudio está en un terreno del pueblo Ramaytush Ohlone.
Este terreno estaba robada de la gente Ohlone.
