Note to pregnant people:
We do not recommend doing stained glass when pregnant or breastfeeding.
However, with the proper PPE and precautions it is possible to do it safely.
For example using lead-free solder and D-lead wipes and soap when in the studio is a great step.

Master Classes
Come and discover the ancient art of stained glass by trying out our group workshops!
Discover the plethora of set designs you can make depending on class level to see if this craft is for you before signing up to weekly classes. Also great for resident stained glass artists who want to learn a new specified skill (eg. box making).
All workshops are 1-day
Please note: we host both unmasked and masked (N-95) workshops to be inclusive of immunocompromised folks
Please select the correct class when booking!
Students will have one instructed monthly class by a Stained Glass Master over two or three months. They will then be given assignments to take home (or do in OKO Studio) to practice building muscle memory for long term skill. You will complete a pre-determined panel from start to finish in each master class and have additional designs to complete during your independent assignments. For example: If a master class is 3 months long, you will create 4 independent designs. All materials included in the ticket price.
In order to fully master each technique, students get 3 independent drop-in sessions included in the ticket price per month at OKO Studio to complete independent assignments. These independent assignments are meant to build muscle memory for you to fully deepen your skill for long-term learning.

Weekly Rental Classes

Group weekly stained glass studio rental sessions allowing you to create your own project from start to finish!
In short: You're renting the studio & tools. No instruction is included so a minimum of a level 1 workshop is required to join. In these weekly sessions students can come up with any idea and I will guide them on how to make it.
Students will be able to store all material and projects, use all tools and basically rent a spot in the studio space while making their craft. Reminder: Instruction is not included.
Great for birthday parties, team building corporate events, and couples who want to do a special private romantic class together.
These private workshops are also available for people who want personalized 1:1 instruction. This class is of particular interest for immunocompromised people as there is a fully masked option.

OKO Scholarship
Two students/class will be awarded financial help (50% discount). Available for people in the following circumstances:

Full time non-profit employee making under $70,000/year

Making less than $65,000/year
