Leading a Panel from Start to Finish Master Class Three 2hr instructed Master Classes (1 per month) + Nine free 2.5hr OKO Studio drop-in sessions Make 4 independent designs in 3 months! *Independent assignments can be done in free OKO Studio drop in sessions or at your home studio • Month 1: Glass Cutting - Week 1 (2hrs): Instructed Glass Cutting & Grinding with Glass Master of pattern 1 - Week 2: Independent assignment* - pattern 2 - Week 3: Independent assignment* - pattern 3 - Week 4: Independent assignment* - pattern 4 • Month 2: Lead Building - Week 5 (2hrs): Instructed Instructed Building Techniques with Glass Master of pattern 1 - Week 6: Independent assignment* - pattern 2 - Week 7: Independent assignment* - pattern 3 - Week 8: Independent assignment* - pattern 4 • Month 3: Soldering & Finishing - Week 9 (2hrs): Instructed soldering techniques & putty/whiting with Glass Master of pattern 1 - Week 10: Independent assignment* - pattern 2 - Week 11: Independent assignment* - pattern 3 - Week 12: Independent assignment* - pattern 4 Final day: Showcase! (Sunday after last drop-in) At the end of the 3 months - you will have developed the muscle memory to hone in on masterful skills. Afraid of commitment over 3 months? Just think of it this way - you have ONE master class to attend to with the Glass master per month. Every month, you will have 3 weeks following your master class where you have 3 drop-in sessions to finish the 2 designs. You can pick any day (Tuesday - Saturday) to come in the studio for your drop-in session. If you do these at home you can spend even more time on them. If you require more time in OKO Studio, you can always book another drop in session ($55 per 2.5hr session). However, the curriculum is created for students to finish each pattern within each allocated time. If you're a complete beginner and would like to practice before doing a 3-month masterclass, you can always take one of our 1-day workshops or 1-day master classes to better prepare for the muti-series masterclass. Experience: none required, however it helps to have knowledge in cutting glass. You will be given specific pre-set patterns based on your skill level. Schedule for OKO Studio drop-ins: Tuesdays 6:30-9pm Wednesdays 6-8:30pm Thursday 6-8:30pm Saturdays 10am-12:30pm
Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required to be paid online to reserve your spot. There are no refunds so please only book if you are 100% sure. Tickets are transferable so if you can no longer make the master class, you can transfer them to a friend. On the first day of your master class, please bring cash to pay the remaining 50% of the ticket price. We only accept cash on the day so please be mindful to bring the exact amount - no change will be given. Master classes will be taught by a stained glass master one time for 2hrs per month. The class will also be live on zoom and will also be recorded in case you cannot make it. However, please be aware that there are many demonstrations that will not be visible on the computer therefore, its best to come in person. We ask students to really set time in their calendar to commit to the allocated days. Of course, if you are sick, please stay home. We will try to catch you up best we can during the drop in sessions. All materials are included in the ticket price. OKO Studio drop-in sessions are also included - 1 session per week for 3 weeks every month. Of course, if you have a home studio, you can complete your independent assignments there and have much more time. In case someone only has access to OKO Studio and runs out of time, they will have the option of booking additional drop-in sessions ($55/session). The schedule for drop-ins will be during studio rental time: Tuesdays (6:30-9pm), Wednesdays (6-8:30pm), Thursdays (6-8:30pm) and Saturdays 10am-12:30pm). By signing up to the master classes, students agree to the liability waiver and release OKO designs or any instructor from liability. Please read out Terms of Service on our website.
