About the Master Classes:

We are offering 1-day Master Classes, as well as multi-day Master Classes.

Master Classes are classes taught by an invited Stained Glass Master. The multi-day Master Classes are designed to build the muscle memory for you to remember the skills you've learned from the Stained Glass Master. Most classes are over 2 or 3 months with a commitment of a once a month class taught by the Master. If for whatever reason you cannot make that day - you can join us live on zoom and also have access to the recording (please note: since on zoom you will miss the practical hands on lab part of the class). You have the remainder of the month (3 weeks) to practice at home or in OKO Studio (once a week weekly sessions offered for free).

You are paying for the instruction from a Stained Glass Master, but instead of the 6 or 9 hours being crammed in a weekend, you will spread it out over 2-3 months (depending on the workshop). This will enable you to really develop the skills you need long term to become a better stained glass artist since you will practice the remaining 3 weeks in the month. You will be able to make 2-4 panels (depending on the workshop) and all materials and tools are included. FYI - tools cannot be taken from the studio to practice at home - in that case you will independently have to purchase your own tools.

Since this is a unique class structure - please reach out for more clarification if confusing by contacting us. We'd be happy to discuss these classes in more detail.

Early Bird Email List: Spots are limited so please sign up to the Early Bird email list so we can reserve a spot for you before making the booking live. People on the list will have access to the booking form before the general public. Spots will fill up fast since our Masters are renowned in the Bay Area.

Showcase:

At the end of the multi-day Master Classes - there will be an organized student showcase where students can invite friends to showcase their work. Drinks and snacks will be provided by the studio. This is a great way to meet and mingle/network with other artists as well.

Some notes before signing up:

Please read and sign the liability waiver BEFORE purchasing tickets by clicking hereNote to pregnant people: please refer to the safety page before purchasing tickets by clicking here. Workshops are nonrefundable but transferable. Master classes are only taught on one day so are not able to be rescheduled. There will be a live and recorded zoom option in case you cannot attend, however, please note that some details may not be seen well via video.

Please read our code of conduct before taking a class.

We have a strict late comer policy: You have a 15 minute grace period of coming to a class late. If you come later than 15 mins it is considered a no show and you will not be admitted to the class since we are on a tight schedule to keep it within workshop times. You are welcome to watch the class over zoom and also watch the recording. If you miss the master class, you are still invited to the Oko Studio sessions to practice and to the remaining Master Classes, however, it is up to you to watch the recording and learn how to do it. There is no instruction in the studio practice sessions. There are no refunds and no rebooking when there is a no show. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We recommend you come 10 mins early to find parking etc and familiarize yourself with finding the studio, especially if it's your first time.
